How to make delicious Nawabi Semai ai for upcoming Eid | Ramadan Special 2023 Recipe


 


Nawabi shemai is a delicious Indian dessert made with vermicelli, milk, sugar, and a variety of nuts and spices. Here is a recipe for nawabi shemai:



Ingredients:


* 1 cup vermicelli (thin)

* 4 cups whole milk

* 1/2 cup sugar

* 1/2 cup ghee or clarified butter

* 1/2 cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins)

* 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

* 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder

* A pinch of saffron strands

* Rose petals for garnish




Instructions:



1. Heat the ghee in a deep non-stick pan, and roast the vermicelli until it turns golden brown.


2. Add the mixed nuts and stir until they are lightly roasted.


3. Pour the milk into the pan and stir well.


4. Add sugar and mix until it dissolves.


5. Add cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, and saffron strands and stir well.


6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.


7. When the milk thickens and the vermicelli is cooked, turn off the heat.


8. Let the shemai cool down to room temperature.


9. Garnish with rose petals and serve chilled.
