Delicious Faluda recipe. The flavours are so yummy | Delicious summer cold Recipe | Ramadan Special 2023


 


Faluda is a refreshing and sweet dessert drink that is popular in many parts of South Asia. Here is a recipe to make delicious faluda at home:



Ingredients:


* 1 cup faluda noodles

* 4 cups milk

* 1/2 cup sugar

* 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

* 1/4 cup rose syrup

* 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews)

* 1/4 cup basil seeds

* 1/4 cup chopped fruits (optional)




Instructions:



1. Cook the faluda noodles in boiling water until they are soft, then drain and rinse them with cold water.


2. Soak the basil seeds in a bowl of water for about 15-20 minutes, until they become soft and translucent.


3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, and cardamom powder until the sugar is dissolved.


4. Add the rose syrup to the milk mixture and mix well.


5. Take a serving glass and add a few spoonfuls of cooked faluda noodles at the bottom.


6. Pour some of the rose milk mixture over the noodles, filling the glass about halfway.


7. Add a spoonful of soaked basil seeds, some chopped nuts, and chopped fruits (if using) on top of the milk.


8. Add another layer of faluda noodles on top of the milk and repeat the process until the glass is full.


9. Garnish with some chopped nuts and serve chilled.
