A Grinder sandwich is a type of sandwich that usually consists of a long roll or baguette, sliced meats, cheese, and vegetables. Here's a simple recipe for making a Grinder sandwich at home:
Ingredients:
* 1 long roll or baguette
* 4 slices of deli meat (ham, turkey, salami, or roast beef)
* 2 slices of cheese (provolone, Swiss, or cheddar)
* 1/4 cup of sliced vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onion, or bell pepper)
* 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
* 1 tablespoon of mustard
* Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Cut the roll or baguette in half lengthwise, and remove some of the bread from the inside of the roll to make room for the fillings.
3. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and mustard together.
4. Spread the mayonnaise and mustard mixture on both sides of the roll.
5. Layer the deli meat, cheese, and sliced vegetables on one half of the roll.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Place the other half of the roll on top of the fillings and press down slightly.
8. Wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.
