Here’s a simple recipe for sago fruit dessert:




Ingredients:


* 1 cup sago pearls

* 4 cups water

* 1 cup coconut milk

* 1/2 cup sugar

* 1 cup diced fruit (such as mangoes, papaya, or strawberries)




Instructions:



1. Rinse the sago pearls in cold water, then soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.


2. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Drain the sago pearls and add them to the boiling water.


3. Reduce the heat to medium and cook the sago pearls for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are translucent and tender.


4. Drain the sago pearls and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.


5. In a separate pot, combine the coconut milk and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.


6. Add the cooked sago pearls to the pot with the coconut milk mixture and stir to combine.


7. Add the diced fruit to the pot and stir gently to combine.


8. Cook the mixture for a few minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the fruit is slightly softened and the mixture is heated through.


9. Serve the sago fruit dessert warm or chilled.
