Here's a simple and tasty pancake recipe that you must try:



Ingredients:


* 1 cup all-purpose flour

* 2 tablespoons sugar

* 2 teaspoons baking powder

* 1/4 teaspoon salt

* 1 cup milk

* 1 large egg

* 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

* Cooking spray or extra butter for greasing the pan




Instructions:



1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.


2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.


3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, or the pancakes will turn out tough.


4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Lightly coat the surface with cooking spray or butter.


5. Using a 1/4 cup measure, pour the batter onto the pan. Cook until the edges start to dry out and the surface is covered in bubbles, about 2-3 minutes.


6. Flip the pancake and cook for another minute or until golden brown.


7. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more cooking spray or butter to the pan as needed.


8. Serve hot with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, whipped cream, or fresh fruit.
